The newspaper said, in a report, that the two countries have finalized the text of the “continuity agreement”, which confirms the continuation of the current terms of trade between Ankara and London.
She explained that the agreement is expected to be signed by representatives of both countries during a hypothetical meeting.
The “Financial Times” pointed out that this agreement is the first of its kind since British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reached a new trade agreement with the European Union earlier this week.
According to data from the British Ministry of International Trade, the volume of trade exchange between the United Kingdom and Turkey last year amounted to about 19 billion pounds.
