Japan’s Nikkei newspaper reported on Saturday that Japan is preparing to issue digital health certificates to its citizens who have been vaccinated against the Coronavirus.
With this step, Japan joins China, the European Union and other countries that have taken similar measures aimed at promoting international travel.
The report said that the certificate will be administered on a mobile application, allowing its holder to prove that he has vaccinated when boarding a plane or disembarking in hotels.
