NFL power rankings 4.0: Chiefs, Mahomes solidify themselves at the top
SportsPulse: The Monday Night bout between the top two teams in the AFC was essentially a knockout with Kansas City dominating start to finish and reaffirming their status as the top team in the NFL. We reveal our risers and fallers in this week’s power rankings.
The NFL has tweaked its season schedule after the Week 4 matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests among the Titans.
Pittsburgh and Tennessee will both have their bye weeks designated as this weekend, and their new game will be played Sunday, Oct. 25 (Week 7) at 1 p.m. ET (CBS). The Steelers were originally scheduled to play the Baltimore Ravens that weekend, but that matchup will move back one week to Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. (CBS).
The Ravens’ bye week, originally scheduled for Week 8, has been moved up to Week 7.
Teams were informed Friday that they will not be allowed to leave their home cities during bye weeks, as daily coronavirus testing will still take place. A missed test will result in a $50,000 fine and a second missed test will trigger a one-game suspension without pay.
Two more Titans players tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, according to ESPN.
