Nikola Jokic couldn’t finish the game against the Utah Jazz. The Serbian center left the game before the break and did not return to the court after chatting with Mike Malone. Although he seemed willing to play, he commented to the coach that he was somewhat weak and the decision was not to risk it.
Questioned by the seriousness of the problem, head coach of the Nuggets indicated that he hoped it was nothing important, although he admitted that his player had pain in his joint; so much so that such annoyance persisted even the next morning, as reported The Denver Post. Luckily, everything has been a scare.
As ESPN explains, the current NBA MVP has undergone tests and any structural damage to his right knee has been ruled out; that is, there has been no injury beyond the blow and the contusion suffered by it.
Regarding how this translates into low games, those of Colorado have cataloged Jokic as game time decisionSo it won’t be until just before tonight’s game against the Mavericks that we know if he plays or not.
