Two tornadoes struck in Ocean County, two in Mercer County, and one in Essex County.
There was no proof of a twister in Monmouth County, regardless of experiences.
One Ocean County twister was an EF2 that broken the northern tip of Long Beach Island.
The opposite was an EF1 that downed a swath of bushes within the woods close to the Cedar Bridge tavern historic website. The Bay Entrance Seaside and municipal dock space in Barnegat additionally sustained main injury.
Essentially the most tornadoes in a single day in New Jersey have been seven in 1989. The second most was 5 tornadoes on March 10, 1964, a report that was tied Thursday evening.
New Jersey’s final EF2 was on July 29, 2009, in Sussex County.
