No agreement for PAN, PRI and PRD alliance to the Edomex government; Saturday is the deadline for registration

The national leader of the PRD, Jesús Zambrano, indicated that the deadline for registering the eventual electoral alliance expires on January 14 “going through mexico” in it Mexico statealthough negotiations continue and there is no agreement to date between PAN, AT y PRD.

During the registration of local deputy Omar Ortega as a PRD pre-candidate for the governorship of the State of Mexico, Jesús Zambrano mentioned that there are conditions for an alliance agreement between the parties to be reached.

“The comrade leaders of the PRD in the State of Mexico and also at the national level are still talking about what has become known as the Va Por México coalition, that nothing has yet been concluded. We are in the best position that we go as a result of a democratic, open and transparent process. If we go in coalition with the best candidacy. The term for a possible coalition closes next Saturday, January 14, and we will be walking hand in hand with them for any decision and we will make it known, ”he said.

Zambrano Grijalva said that the “Va por México” coalition will only exist if there is an agreement, and stressed that for the PRD, only in a coalition, it will seek to block the way for Morena in Edomex, “and at the same time lay the foundations so that in the next elections of 2024 we are in very good conditions to win the majority against Morena”.

Questioned about the electoral advantage that certain polls give to the sole candidate of Morena, Delfina Gomez, the PRD leader Jesús Zambrano said: “That’s how we started. In worse conditions. Only the case of Durango, we started with 14 or 15 points down and we beat Morena with 14 points, so everything is decided in the campaign process and on the day of the election itself. In addition, Morena is increasingly discredited as a party to be able to carry such a great responsibility as governing the State of Mexico. It is demonstrating it in Mexico City, at a national level, and people are already realizing that it did not mean any profound change as they said it did.”

For his part, the PRD candidate Omar Ortega he said they are his friends Alejandra del MoralPRI candidate, and Enrique Vargas del Villar, PAN candidate for the government of the State of Mexico, and indicated that he respects the internal processes in his parties. He also considered that there are conditions to go in a coalition, although he warned the PRD has to assert its ideals within the eventual coalition agreement.

He said that this Tuesday, January 10, the registration of pre-candidates in the PRD concluded and on February 13 the pre-campaign will begin, and then it will be up to the national leadership of the Aztec sun to determine who will be its candidate for the Mexican government.
