Mikel Arteta has made four changes to his Arsenal starting XI for their Champions League group stage match against Slavia Prague.
In midfield, Christian Norgaard replaces the suspended Martin Zubimendi, while Ethan Nwaneri is handed his first European start of the season, with Eberechi Eze dropping to the bench. In attack, Mikel Merino leads the line as a result of an injury Viktor Gyokeres sustained over the weekend. The final change is in defence, where Piero Hincapie starts ahead of Riccardo Calafiori.
Due to an injury to Kepa Arrizabalaga, the bench includes goalkeepers Tommy Setford and Alexei Rojas-Fedorushchenko, alongside academy prospects Max Dowman, Charles Sagoe Jr, and Andre Harriman-Annous.
Slavia Prague, who currently top the Czech league, have made two changes from the team that beat Banik Ostrava on Saturday. Greek international Christos Zafeiris returns to central midfield in place of Oscar, while left wing-back Youssoupha Mbodji comes into the lineup for striker Mojmir Chytil, who is named as a substitute.
