Shopping centres, hairdressers, nail salon and a SANTA booth among 15 new locations on high alert – see if YOU need to quarantine right now
- The new venues are from Sydney, the Illawarra region and the Blue Mountains
- Some people are considered close contacts and must self-isolate for two weeks
A string of new venues across New South Wales have been put on high alert after being visited by coronavirus cases – including a Santa booth and a hairdresser.
NSW Health listed the new venues on Wednesday afternoon after 18 infections were recorded around the state.
The venues, which are across Sydney, the Illawarra region and Blue Mountains, require some contacts to self-quarantine for two weeks while others can isolate until they receive a negative test.

Anyone who visited the following venues is considered a close contact and must get tested immediately and isolate for 14 days – regardless of the result.
These include Monkey Mania at Bankstown Sports Club on December 28 between 10am and 12pm and La Piazza at Bankstown Sports Club on December 28 between 12pm and 2pm.
This also applies to Hair Management at Bass Hill Plaza on December 24 between 11.15am and 12.30pm, and Venus Nail Salon at Bass Hill Plaza on December 24 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
Residents who visited the following venues need to get a COVID-19 test and isolate until they receive a negative result.
These include Priceline at Centro Bankstown Square on December 24 between 1pm and 5pm, as well as Priceline at Westfield Liverpool on December 23 between 10am and 5pm.
The Santa Claus photo booth at Westfield Burwood Shopping Centre on December 22 between 11.15am and 11.45am has also been listed.
As has the Greenwell and Thomas Pharmacy on 145 Katoomba Street on December 26 and 27.
The Coffee Club at Stockland Shellharbour on December 27 between 11am and 12pm has also been put on alert.
NSW recorded 18 new infections on Wednesday with new clusters popping up in Sydney’s inner-west
The same directions apply for visitors to the Officeworks in Punchbowl on December 21 between 8.30pm and 9pm.
Other people have been told to monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they visited the following venues at the specific times.
These include the Bankstown Sports Club on December 28 between 10am and 2pm, and Bass Hill Plaza on December 24 between 11am and 2pm.
Also listed is the Coles at Figtree Grove Shopping Centre on December 28 between 4.45pm and 5.20pm, and Greenacre Bunnings on December 26 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
The Myer at Stockland Shellharbour on December 27 between 12pm and 12.40pm has also been listed.
The extensive list of venues come after another cluster of cases popped up in Sydney’s inner-west.
