Number of Ukrainian victims, incalculable: Ukrainian ambassador

For his part, the French ambassador to MexicoJean-Pierre Asvazadourian, called for a ceasefire and respect for international humanitarian law.

“This conflict is mainly affecting the civilian population (…) this conflict that seems remote, is not only a European conflict, but a conflict that challenges an international order based on law. Involves the Human Rights Council and that of the International Criminal Court, to defend the rights of the civilian population. This conflict is also already impacting global food security and energy prices,” he said.

“This conflict is the greatest humanitarian tragedy in Europe since the WWII. We have 10 million displaced people including 4 million
