Today, Monday, the management of the Saudi Damak Club announced the dismissal of Algerian Noureddine Zakri from coaching the first football team.
The dismissal of the 56-year-old came after statements he made after his team lost to Al-Fateh in the last round of the Mohammed Bin Salman Professional League, in which he threatened to leave the club if the administration did not register new players during the current winter transfer period.
Zakari took over the technical management of Damak club in October 2019, succeeding Tunisian Mohamed El-Kouki, who was dismissed after 6 rounds of the league despite his rise with the team to the professional league.
Zakary contributed to Dhamak remaining in the professional league last season, after he was close to relegation in his first season among the adults.
Damak ranks last in the Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League standings this season, after 11 rounds have passed, and has only achieved two wins, two drawn and received 7 losses.
