Toronto Raptors player OG Anunoby has been ruled out of Thursday’s game against the Utah Jazz due to a hip injury. As reported by the media SportsnetNick Nurse has claimed that this injury could keep the forward off the court for “a while.”
The technician did not delve into the information and the franchise has not announced any specific deadline for his return. However, these types of injuries are usually classified as week-to-week, depending on the severity of it. Shortly after, the journalist of the The Toronto StarDoug Smith reported that Anunoby was injured during a training session earlier this week.
This is a major setback for the Raptors, who have lost five of their last six games after a hopeful start to the season. At 24 years old, Anunoby has been the top scorer for the Canadians so far with 20.1 points per night, in addition to establishing himself as an irreplaceable piece in defense.
