Sources in the “OPEC +” alliance said that the alliance agreed on a deal for the months of February and March, and allowed Russia and Kazakhstan to increase their production.
A source in the Kazakh Oil Ministry told “Novosti” agency: “The current standards of the agreement will be preserved in February and March for everyone, except for Russia and Kazakhstan.”
He added that Russia will increase its oil production by 65 thousand barrels per day in February, and Kazakhstan by 10 thousand barrels per day.
Another source said that Saudi Arabia will announce additional cuts and said, “Saudi Arabia will announce the details at a press conference soon.”
He indicated that the rest of the coalition countries will maintain their production at the current level.
