Experts at the Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion conducted a poll of Russian citizens about the heroes of the past year.
And 13% of survey respondents said that a person deserving of the title of champion of 2020 should be honest and fair. 8% of the participants believe that he should be active and able to initiate and communicate with others.
A group of respondents constituting 8% also believes that he must be courageous, bold and strong.
While 55% of the respondents believe that doctors are the heroes of the year 2020. 31% of the participants believe that the heroes are the emergency men who save people. As for 22%, they consider virologists who develop vaccines to be the heroes of the past year.
And 44% of Russians consider the speculators who raise the prices of medicines and make up their artificial shortage of medicines to be the opposite of the champions. In addition to those concerned, who portray the situation as worse (30%).
And next to them, according to 30% of the participants, are the politicians who criticize the measures against “Covid-19” to raise their popularity, those who reject the seriousness of “Covid-19” and the officials who do not take measures against the spread of “Covid-19”.
