Opportunities exist for companies, despite the complex and uncertain environment: Jorge Nacer

Despite the uncertain environment due to inflationary pressures, interest rate increases and still adverse effects from the Covid-19 pandemic, there are growth opportunities for companies in Mexico, he said. Jorge Nacer Goberapresident of the Technical Committee of Educational Fiber.

“We firmly believe that even in the midst of a complex environment, the opportunity for growth is there for those who have the decision, the operational and efficiency support that allows them to take advantage of it properly,” he said in the framework of #FibraEducaDay.

In his message, Jorge Nacer explained that in Mexico these investment and growth opportunities exist even though the country has generated the perception of volatility and uncertainty about the trajectory of economic indicators and, particularly, those that affect the ability to business management.

At the international level, conditions have been complicated by the measures to contain the health crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic and, currently, by inflationary pressures, as well as by the speed of the increase in the reference rate to contain inflation. , added to the Russian war against Ukrainecommercial and geopolitical conflicts.

In this context, and four years after the listing of Fibra Educa in the Mexican stock exchangethe first real estate investment trust in the education sector, continues to focus, as far as possible, on continuing to grow and increase the value for the holders of its real estate trust certificates (CBFI).

“Fibra Educa will continue to work with operational efficiency, results-oriented with transparency and accountability to offer a favorable return to its investors, with a clear commitment to sustainability. We want and must continue to contribute to the growth of an educational sector that is crucial for our country and for future generations,” said Nacer Gobera.

In this sense, the president of the Technical Committee of the real estate trust stressed that education is one of the fundamental pillars to face the structural problems of inequity and inequality, which are a barrier to sustainable economic growth in Mexico.

Finally, he mentioned that Fibra Educa continues to focus on promoting actions in environmental, social and governance matters, with “the absolute certainty that companies have the fundamental responsibility of contributing to the fulfillment of sustainable development objectives.”
