Former Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Will Sheppard is signing with the Green Bay Packers, according to a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Sheppard, who went undrafted in April, recently attended the Denver Broncos’ mandatory minicamp in June on a tryout basis. He was one of seven players trying out for the team, but Denver did not extend a contract offer.
The 6-foot-2, 198-pound receiver spent four years at Vanderbilt before transferring to Colorado for his final season. In 2024, he had an impressive campaign with the Buffaloes, totaling 48 receptions for 621 yards and six touchdowns.
Sheppard concluded his collegiate career with 200 catches for 2,688 yards and 27 touchdowns over 55 games. He now joins the Packers as an undrafted free agent.
