Enrique Vegahead of the PAHO/WHO Healthy Life Cycle Unit in Washington highlighted the areas of action of the Decade of Healthy Aging including changing the way we think, feel, and act about age and aging.
“It must be ensured that communities foster the capacities of older people; offering integrated long-term care for older people who need it”.
