Palestinian Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila announced that the Israeli authorities prevented the entry of 2000 doses of the Russian “Sputnik V” anti-Corona vaccine into the Gaza Strip, which the ministry sent today.
She said, “The Israeli occupation authorities bear full responsibility for this arbitrary measure that is contrary to all international customs, laws and agreements.”
She added, “Today, 2000 doses of the Russian” Sputnik V “vaccine were transferred to enter the Gaza Strip, but the Israeli authorities prevented their entry.
And she continued: “These doses were intended for the medical staff working in the intensive care rooms designated for Corona patients, and the staff working in the emergency departments.”
Al-Keela stressed that “the Palestinian government and the Ministry of Health are communicating with international organizations to bring vaccines into Gaza as quickly as possible.”
