More troops
In light of Israeli fears of the situation deteriorating in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli “Wala” website revealed that the occupation army decided to reduce the size of its forces in Gaza and transfer some of them to the West Bank to replace regular army forces there.
The website said that Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy decided that the combat forces would leave the Gaza Strip and be transferred to “operational duties in the West Bank,” to replace the forces of regular soldiers stationed there.
The website did not specify any details about the forces that were transferred from Gaza to the West Bank or the reasons for this decision, but Israeli media reports indicated that this move aims to give rest periods to the forces that have been working for long periods in the West Bank against the backdrop of the ongoing security tensions.
In recent weeks, the Israeli army announced the transfer of forces from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank.
Total destruction
In the face of what the occupation forces are doing in the West Bank, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called for “intensifying international intervention to stop the aggression and killing, and to stop the war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.”

Shtayyeh attributed the occupation policy to daily raids, the killing of hundreds of young men, the establishment of settlement outposts, the confiscation of lands, the demolition of facilities, and the intensification of the presence of military checkpoints aimed at destroying “the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state.”
Since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupation has intensified its operations in the West Bank, and expanded the incursions and raids that resulted in the death of 369 Palestinians and the injury of about 4,250 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health, and the arrest of about 6,195, according to institutions specialized in prisoner affairs.
