Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch has confirmed that Patrick Beverley will be out for a minimum of two weeks due to a left adductor strain.
This injury occurred during Wednesday’s match against the Miami Heat, in which the Timberwolves added their fifth consecutive victory. The guard had already been listed as out for this Friday’s game against Charlotte Hornets before this news was released. Beverley will be reevaluated in two weeks, which means he will miss at least the next seven games for his team.
The player landed in Minnesota during the offseason from Memphis. There he had landed just days before from Los Angeles as part of the operation that ended with Eric Bledsoe on the Clippers. Beverley has played a total of 16 games with the Timberwolves, starting twelve of them. Their numbers rise to 8.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 25.4 minutes.
With Beverley in the infirmary, Malik Beasley and Jordan McLaughlin leave with a certain advantage to assume their minutes on the track. Although his absence will be delicate for the interests of Chris Finch, mainly in the defensive section.
