Tom Brady and Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu were involved in an incident which saw Brady appear to chase down Mathieu after connecting with Antonio Brown for his third touchdown of the first half.
Following a series of mental mistakes and costly penalties by the Kansas City defense before halftime, Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu began taunting Brady, only to find that the future Hall of Famer was happy to reciprocate.
The pair needed to be separated after Brady ran over to confront Mathieu, who was the only one flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Mathieu received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, while Brady continued without being penalized.
Mother Randi Mahomes also appeared unimpressed with ESPN’s coverage of her son. She took to social media to write: ‘Love our chiefs!! Heartbroken to see how @ESPN @SportsCenter tried making fun of my son. But i know his heart and love for his team and chiefs nation! Thank you chiefs fans.. don’t forget these are someone’s sons tv.’

Due to the virus, only 25,000 mask-wearing fans were allowed in, including approximately 7,500 vaccinated health care workers who were given free tickets by the NFL. About 30,000 cardboard cutouts made the stadium look full.
