(CNN) — When it comes to strange interactions with his followers, Pedro Pascal wins.
During a panel discussion with The Hollywood Reporter, Pascal chatted with Jeff Bridges, Kieran Culkin, Damson Idris, Michael Imperioli, and Evan Peters.
The conversation revolved around some interesting encounters with the viewers of his series. Pascal recounted that, following the death of her character on “Game of Thrones”, Oberyn Martell, “people took selfies with her thumbs in my eyes.”
“And at first, I was so serious and happy about the success of the character in the series, that I left them,” he said. “And then I remember my eyes got a little infected.” Ugh.
During the fourth season of the hit HBO series, Pascal’s character is killed by Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane (played by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), who gouges out his eyes before cracking his skull open. (HBO is owned by CNN’s parent company)
“Succession” star Culkin quipped, upon hearing Pascal’s story, “Wow, that’s a lot of confidence.”
Pascal has had other popular roles in “The Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian.”
