Villahermosa (Mexico), Jul 1 (.).- Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), companies of the Mexican State, announced this Friday investments for a total of 11,718 million dollars in energy projects in the country .
In the largest of these plans, the CFE will make a strategic alliance with the Canadian TC Energy for the “energy security of the southeast” for an amount of 5,000 million dollars to develop a 420-kilometer marine gas pipeline from Tuxpan to Coatzacoalcos, in the state of Veracruz, in the Gulf of Mexico.

The second project of the CFE is with the American New Fortress Energy for an amount of 2,200 million dollars with which the CFE will be a partner in a natural gas liquefaction project and will obtain an additional gas plant in Baja California Sur to guarantee the supply in that northwestern region of the country.
