Pemex will seek that all its establishments are Gas Stations for Well-being

What began as an equity program for disadvantaged regions, such as the Mayan Train route, the Trans-Isthmic corridor, and the Southeast of the country: Gas Stations for Well-beingToday it has 3,668 affiliated service stations, but Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) goes through all its franchise establishments in 2023, that is, almost double what it has today.

This was stated by Nancy Nolazco Santana, from the Transport Fuels Marketing area of ​​Pemex Transformación Industrial (TRI), in the Puebla 2022 Summit of the National Organization of Oil Sellers (Onexpo), which brings together gas station businessmen from the 32 entities.

The goal is to affiliate all the stations that are Pemex, which are more than 6,000; We hope to have all the stations covered by at least mid-year,” explained the official.

But also, he said in front of the businessmen during his participation in this colloquium, through the Gas Station Fleet Program for Well-being, Pemex acquired 1,800 new tank trucks in order to continue with this expansion.

“Flotillas Gasolinas Bienestar is a business scheme for the exclusive sale of gasoline and diesel to vehicle fleets, this does not mean changing the image of the Pemex franchise, so this program works through a commercial alliance between Pemex and the gas stations. service,” he said.

It should be remembered that since its announcement, in 2021, service stations Pemex Initially selected based on geographic criteria, they joined the program to dispense prepaid fuel on a card or App.

In turn, the volume delivered to customers is recorded through the Point of Sale Terminal connected online to the information system of Pemex that replaces it in the next order.

The main incentive to join the program is that Pemex pays the station a consideration of 80 cents plus VAT per liter.

To join and serve the nearly 300 fleet customers who already purchase gasoline in this program, the franchise service stations Pemex they must send a subscription request form to the scheme, sign an amending agreement to the franchise contract or SLUM, accept the use of the electronic means of payment and the POS and use the information system of the program.

“Our first and most important clients are the federal government and some local governments, for example, that of Mexico City. In the Federal Government we have managed to capture more than 70,000 vehicles and in the Government of Mexico City more than 20,000 vehicles. Currently, a sale of more than 90 million liters is being ventilated,” said Nancy Nolazco Santana.
