Sergio Aguero faces another spell on the sidelines after Pep Guardiola confirmed he picked up a hamstring injury in Manchester City‘s 1-1 draw with West Ham.
The 32-year-old has only recently come back into the team after a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.
However the Argentine striker struggled during the first-half of their game against the Hammers, and was replaced by Phil Foden at half-time.

Pep Guardiola confirmed that his striker was taken off at half-time due to a hamstring issue
Guardiola gave a spiky interview with BT Sport after the game where when asked why he took Aguero off he said it was an injury and not the same issue as last time with his knee.
The Manchester City boss would later confirm that it was an apparent hamstring injury which is why he was taken off.
It again leaves the club with a crisis up front with Gabriel Jesus also out injured, leaving them without a recognised striker.
BT Sport pundit Joe Cole said Aguero will be a ‘big miss’ and that City will have to play with a false-nine.
‘Aguero will be a big miss for them’ he told presenter Jake Humphrey after the game.
‘It looked like one of those situations where they come back from injury and you’re carrying something but you’re desperate to play and try and get through it.

‘But he didn’t look right today Aguero. He came off, Foden came on and nearly won the game for them. Sterling and Foden might have to play false number nine up there together to try and get some balance and penetration.
‘He’s gonna have to shuffle the pack, it’s not that often we’ve had to say that about Pep because he’s had so much to pick over the years so it’s a test for him.’
Manchester City have some tricky matches coming up including two Champions League ties as well as matches against rivals Liverpool and Tottenham.
Aguero’s replacement Foden came on to salvage a point for Pep Guardiola’s side after Michail Antonio opened the scoring for the Hammers in the first-half.
