Emergency crews are on the hunt for a person who went missing next to a popular waterfall.
Helicopters spotted something in the water next to the waterfall at Wattamolla in the Sutherland Shire in New South Wales on Monday.
A total of three people were initially missing with one already rescued by emergency crews from the base of the waterfall.

Another person managed to climb out of the water alone before being treated at the scene.
Rescuers onboard the helicopter will perform a winch down to take a closer look in hopes of finding the missing person.
The waterfall is located at the Royal National Park in a remote area.
