Pete Davidson pushed back – quite literally – at a fan who was invading his personal space after a New York Knicks NBA playoff win at Madison Square Garden.
The 29-year-old comedian was seen courtside at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks big playoff win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon, seated next to fellow comedian Jon Stewart.
After the game Davidson – who was recently announced to host the May 6 episode of Saturday Night Live – took the time to pose with a slew of fans.
He was taking selfies with fans’ phones when another man came up and put his arm around the comedian.
While he didn’t say anything at first, when the man continued to get close, the comedian pushed him away in video from Clique Productions.

Pushed: While he didn’t say anything at first, when the man continued to get close, the comedian pushed him away in video from Clique Productions
The man backed off after Davidson pushed him, but after taking selfies with another fan, he was seen shaking his head, clearly annoyed by the fan who got too close.
Davidson hasn’t addressed the incident publicly at this time and it’s unclear if the fan was asked to leave the arena after the incident.
The comedian was all smiles during the game, though, which the Knicks won 102-93 to take a commanding 3-1 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Just down the row from Davidson and Stewart was former New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist and his wife Therese Andersson.
The outing comes just a week after it was revealed Davidson will be making his return to Saturday Night Live next month.
The comedian was just 20 years old when he joined the cast in 2014, where he stayed for eight seasons before leaving at the end of Season 47 in 2022.
He will be promoting his new Peacock series Bupkis, loosely based on his own life, which debuts on the streaming service on May 4.
Pete will host the May 6 episode with musical guest Lil Uzi Vert, which comes after the show’s two-week hiatus.
