A number of medical care teams, in the city of Crickland, in the state of Washington, received the Corona vaccine, as part of the vaccination campaigns launched by the American authorities to prevent the deadly virus.
The United States was negotiating with Pfizer to secure additional vaccine doses in addition to the original 100 million doses the United States had withheld, and last week, Pfizer said it had struck a deal to supply the United States with an additional 100 million doses by July.
Fewer than 2 million people had received the vaccine as of Saturday, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This is well below the administration’s previously announced goal of vaccinating 20 million people before the end of the month.
