Argentine coach, Mauricio Pochettino, kicked off his career with Paris Saint-Germain disappointingly, with a 1-1 draw at Saint-Etienne, on Wednesday, in the 18th week of the French Football League.
Saint-Etienne opened the scoring, taking advantage of a mistake by the French capital’s defense, when the ball reached Roman Hamoma, who put it in the net, in the 19th minute.
But Saint-Germain did not wait more than three minutes to adjust the score by Italian Moise Kean, who received a pass in the middle of the penalty area from his compatriot Marco Verratti, to put the ball calmly in the goal.
Saint-Germain were second with 36 points, behind leaders Lyon, who raised their tally to 39 points after defeating at home to Lance, 3-2.
As for Saint-Etienne, it raised its tally to 19 points in 14th place.

“Of course I am disappointed that we, Paris Saint-Germain, want to win,” said Pochettino (48 years), who took over the responsibility of coaching St. Germain just four days ago, succeeding the German coach Thomas Tuchel, after the match.
“I am happy with the efforts the players have made, this is just the beginning. We have to get to know each other. It was difficult because the preparation period was so short. There are things that need to be improved,” he added.
