Pokémon GO is launching its GO Pass: Max Finale event, running from Monday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 24, at 9:00 p.m. local time. All trainers will automatically receive the free version of the pass and can immediately begin earning GO Points to rank up and unlock in-game rewards.
During the concurrent Dark Skies event, from August 18 to August 22, the number of GO Points players can earn will be subject to a daily cap. This limit will be removed for the final weekend, allowing for unlimited point collection from Saturday, August 23, at 12:00 a.m. until the event concludes.
For those seeking enhanced rewards and faster progression, a paid version, the GO Pass Deluxe: Max Finale, is available for purchase. This premium pass includes all rewards from the free track in addition to its own exclusive items. Players can upgrade to the deluxe pass at any time during the event and will retroactively receive all premium rewards for ranks they have already achieved.
All unlocked rewards from both the free and deluxe passes must be claimed by Tuesday, August 26, at 9:00 p.m. local time, after which they will no longer be available.
