‘No kebab for me, thank you’: The nine things people are incapable of saying when drunk according to police
- ‘Things that are hard to say when you’re drunk’ poster was hung up in a pub
- List shared a variety of words and sentences drunk people would struggle to say
- Some of the words on the list include: innovative, preliminary and cinnamon
- Towards the end is a list of sentences taking aim at drunk people’s behaviour
Police have put up hilarious posters in pubs of things that are impossible to say when drunk as a waning to punters to behave in nights out.
Nine of the items on the list described poor decisions made under the influence of alcohol to point out that people behave badly when they drink.
The list begins with three words that are ‘hard to say when you’re drunk’, such as innovative, preliminary and cinnamon.
After that, there is a list of things that are ‘VERY difficult to say when you’re drunk’ including specifically, passive-aggressive disorder and transubstantiate.
The poster was hung up in a local pub listing phrases and words drunk punters would struggle to say
Following the ‘very difficult’ list is the ‘absolutely impossible’ list of things to say when drunk, where the poster begins to make its real point.
First it points out that people cannot consent when they are too drunk, and even with less alcohol drop their standards and make bad relationship decisions.
‘Thanks, but I don’t want to sleep with you’ and ‘sorry, but you’re not really my type’,’ the two list items read.
Another example on the list is saying no to a kebab which is considered the go-to meals after a night out drinking – only to be regretted in the morning.
Police then described their own interactions with belligerent drunkards with a sarcastic ‘good evening officer, isn’t it lovely out tonight?’
Other two hard sentences on the list are: ‘Oh, I just couldn’t – no one wants to hear me sing’ and ‘thank you, but I won’t make any attempt to dance. I have no rhythm’
The last ones take aim at those who vomit in the streets because they don’t know where the nearest toilet is, and calling it a night because they have work in the morning.
At the end is a warning to all punters to behave or be banned from the pub.
