The owner of the home, who has chosen to not be identified, told ABC 6, that fans have violated her privacy and she even caught someone looking into her front window late at night.

‘Supposedly, I can only guess to see if it’s the same as where they filmed the show,’ she said.

The homeowner says things have gotten ‘ugly’ and in one instance she asked a woman to stop taking pictures of her home because she and her children were playing on their front yard when the woman cursed at her.

‘She just yelled at me and harassed me,’ she told ABC 6.

Things have gotten so out of hand Nether Providence Police took to Facebook to remind people that there is no excuse for trespassing on private property.

‘Yes! It’s neat they filmed a lot of it in our town,’ the post said. ‘Yes!! It’s really cool Kate was ‘living in Wallingford’.

‘No!!!!! It’s NOT cool to go to the homes they filmed at, trespass on the property and harass the owners and their kids all hours of the day and night…..REALLY! It’s a house. Get over it.’ Police posted.

The same homeowner now has ‘no trespassing’ and ‘private property’ signs in front of her home.

She told ABC 6 her young daughter is scared of all the people flocking to their house.

‘She’s afraid to go outside. She’s afraid to play and it’s become a concern to us because it’s concerning to her,’ she said.

Due to increased complaints, local police have increased the number of patrol cars in the area.

‘You know, we get it, we get it’s an attraction and HBO had a pretty big movie here now, but these people live here,’ Sgt. Michael Montgomery with the Nether Providence Township Police Department told ABC 6.

‘People live here, how would you like it if somebody is looking through your window and walking up on your property?’ Montgomery said.

Police have been adamant that trespassing and disturbing the peace will not be tolerated.

‘If you plan on taking this trip, STOP and think! Officers will be in and around the area(s) and will take appropriate action. Warnings will not be given and signs are posted. Trespassers, blocking traffic, disturbing the peace, etc., will not be tolerated. Thank you’ police warned on Facebook.
