Polish President Andrzej Duda awarded the star Robert Lewandowski, the striker of his country and Bayern Munich, today, Monday, the “Bologna Restituta” medal, which is one of the highest decorations in Poland.
Lewandowski, who was crowned the world’s best player last year, was honored for his football achievements and promoting Poland abroad.
At a ceremony in the presidential palace in the capital Warsaw, the Polish president described the star Lewandowski as a “national sports hero” and praised the hard work he had as a soccer player.

Lewandowski emphasized the role played by his colleagues and coaches as well as his family and friends, stressing his focus on the challenges ahead.

Lewandowski, 32, led Bayern Munich to crown a historic hex last season, namely: the European Champions League, European Super Cup, League, Cup and Super Cup locally in addition to the FIFA Clubs World Cup, making the Bavarian team the second team in the world of the round witch to achieve this achievement after Barcelona in Spain. 2009.
