Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, “Many in Saudi Arabia want to normalize relations with Israel,” hoping that Riyadh will join the “Abraham Accords” concluded during the administration of Donald Trump.
In a video directed at the “anti-Semitism movement,” Pompeo added that “during Trump’s presidency, four Arab countries – the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan – agreed to establish relations with Israel.”
He continued, “It has proven that predicting the future is difficult for me,” expressing his belief that “many other countries will seek to establish relations with Israel.”
Pompeo added, “I hope that Saudi Arabia will find its way to join the Abraham Accords. I know that many people inside this country want that to happen.”
