The main exhibition hall at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) went dark around 4.40pm local time and the outage lasted about 10 minutes, Fox News reported. The conference is being hosted at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas.
The outage was isolated to the exhibition hall, which was cleared out, with the power remaining on in the rest of the hotel.

The outlet reported that the outage ‘had to do with the Hilton Anatole’s HVAC system’.
Former President Donald Trump is expected to be in Dallas to speak at the conference on Sunday.
