PPEF of Nuevo León projected Branches 28 and 33 for 96,132.6 million

The resources identified in the 2023 Federation Expenditure Budget Project for the state of Nuevo León, by the Center for Public Finance Studies indicate that the Branch 28 of Federal Participations and the Branch 33 of Federal Contributions, amount to 96,132.6 million pesos, which means an increase of 9.1% compared to what was approved in the year 2022.

However, in the Expenditure Law of 2022(which will be applied this year), published on January 1, 2023 in the Official Gazette of the state, indicates that the transferred federal resources amount to 87,445.7 million pesos.

In the Nuevo León Expenditure Law, when making the economic classification, it reports that 7,976.6 million pesos will be allocated in public investment, in addition, 10,996.5 million pesos will be disbursed on the participations to the municipalities.

PAN legislators They assured the press that what the state authorities are doing with the approval and application of last year’s budget for 2023 is illegal.

The coordinator of the PAN faction, Carlos de la Fuente Flores, assured that the state executive “wants to have 12,000 million pesos at its free disposal, since the approval for this year is 118,000 million pesos, however 130,000 million are projected of weights in total”.

Investment projects
