Presidential plane price could be lower than current with next appraisal: Banobras

The general director of the National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras), Jorge Mendoza Sanchezannounced that they will carry out a new appraisal for the sale of the presidential plane, for which reason he estimated that its price could be less than last calculation presented by the Institute of Administration and Appraisal of National Assets (INDAABIN).

“This month it is time to update the appraisal (for the sale of the presidential plane) and, possibly, for depreciation of machinery will have a small decrease. We continue to make an effort to try to sell it, ”he explained in a conference on the occasion of the placement of debt on the Institutional Stock Market (Biva).

The official recalled that the price requested for the presidential plane, on sale for four years, is 95 million dollarsaccording to the latest INDAABIN appraisal.

Jorge Mendoza assured that the sale of the presidential plane continues in progress and they have received “many” purchase proposals during these four years, however, none have been above the reference value.
