A former Premier League star has been arrested in Ireland after remaining identified with £4,000 really worth of cocaine in his vehicle, it has been documented.
The ex-footballer was allegedly concerned in a vehicle chase with police prior to he was stopped and detained in the Crumlin space of Dublin previous night.
The Irish sportsman, who is in his 30s, was arrested with an additional person for drug possession and risky driving and was released from Crumlin Garda Station this morning, The Irish Mirror reported.
A file will now be despatched to the head of the Crown Prosecution Service.

A Garda spokesman advised MailOnline: ‘Gardaí arrested two gentlemen (aged in their 30s) in the early hours of Friday morning, January 6, 2023, in relation to incidents of unsafe driving in Dublin 12.
‘A quantity of medications was also recovered from the offending auto.
‘Both males have been detained in Crumlin Garda Station under Portion 4 of the Legal Justice Act, 1984 and have been charged in relation to this.
‘They have due to the fact been bailed and are because of to look before court docket at a afterwards date.’
