Prince William and his 10-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, attended the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 final in Switzerland on Sunday, a special outing to watch England play against Spain.
An image of the father-daughter pair at the event was shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account. Ahead of the match, Prince William posted a message of good luck to the England women’s national team. “The nation is so proud you are through to the final after some stunning comebacks!” he wrote in an Instagram story. “We are all cheering you on!”
The appearance follows several other recent public engagements for the family. On July 13, William and Charlotte joined Princess Kate and Prince George to watch the Wimbledon men’s singles final. The family also recently celebrated Prince George’s 12th birthday on July 22, releasing a new photo and a video of him with his siblings.
These outings come as the Princess of Wales continues to recover following her cancer treatment. Although she announced in January that her cancer is in remission, Kate recently discussed the challenges of the post-treatment phase during a visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex.
“You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment,” the Princess said. “Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.”
