The Israeli state broadcaster reported Saturday that the protest movement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has continued for the 30th week in a row today.
She said that the main demonstration is taking place near the official residence of the Prime Minister in central Jerusalem, where thousands of demonstrators gather, carrying torches and banners opposing Netanyahu.
It indicated that the police arrested 8 of the demonstrators after they blocked the back entrance to Netanyahu’s residence.
The demonstrators emphasized that the attempt by unknown persons to set fire to the sit-in tent at the place would not deter them from continuing the protests.
The Israeli Authority stated that hundreds of protesters demonstrated today in various parts of the country.
It reported that one of the demonstrators was lightly injured as a result of being stoned by supporters of the Prime Minister.
