At Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Minister of State for International Cooperation in the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Lulwah Al Khater, and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, who is visiting Doha, supervised the sending of joint aid to the Gaza Strip, including food and medical supplies and tents for shelter.
The Qatari Minister said that humanitarian aid cannot be a substitute for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
Cameron’s visit comes as part of a regional tour to several countries during which he will discuss increasing the entry of aid into the Strip, the release of Israeli detainees, and a ceasefire.
