condemned Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister adopted a policy of collective punishment and forced population displacement Gaza stripHe criticized the double standards and politicization of humanitarian aid and its use as a tool to punish the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The Qatari Prime Minister said – in a press conference on Wednesday in Doha with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan – “We affirm our complete refusal to deal with this crisis with double standards, and the killing of civilians here (in Gaza) should not be condemned and justified there (with the Israelis).”
He added, “We condemn the policy of collective punishment towards the Gaza Strip and its residents. There is politicization of humanitarian aid and its use as a tool for punishment, and we do not find sufficient voices to lift this injustice against the people in the Gaza Strip.”
He stressed that cutting off water, electricity, food, and medicine for civilians is unacceptable, and that “the parties involved in violating international law must be held accountable.”
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani renewed Qatar’s call for partners to mobilize efforts to reach a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, stressing that the only way to reach a peaceful solution in Gaza is to keep communication channels open.
He said that Qatar would continue discussions to release prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and denounced “the provocative statements of some Israeli officials, the accuser of Qatar.”
Qatar, in coordination with the United States, is leading mediation talks between the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) and Israeli officials regarding the release of prisoners, which resulted in the release of 4 out of more than 220 prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
For his part, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan – during the press conference – warned Israel against the consequences of turning its war on Gaza into a “complete massacre,” and said that “those who encourage Israel’s crimes are its partners in crime,” warning that the region is heading towards a comprehensive war that would lead to Affects the whole world.
Fidan called for an end to the targeting of civilians in mosques and hospitals, noting that “the crisis this time is great, and there are very great risks, and the political solution must not be postponed.”
He added, “Israel must understand that it cannot meet its needs with violence and cruelty. The more death increases, the violence will increase, and there must be an alternative solution.”
The Israeli occupation forces continue their intensive raids on the Gaza Strip for the 19th day in a row, leaving more than 6,500 martyrs, including 2,704 children. This comes under a stifling siege that prevents the entry of fuel, food, and water into the Strip.
