Queenslanders forced to endure extended Covid restrictions from paranoid premier Annastacia Palaszczuk – despite no new cases across the entire state
- Brisbane emergency Covid-19 restrictions have been extended to at least Friday
- QLD Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk asked community to be patient for 72 hours
- State recorded two new coronavirus cases overnight, both in hotel quarantine
- Hospitals, aged care and disability care homes will be locked down until Friday
The state’s premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said hospitals, aged care homes and disability services would remain locked down for several more days.
No new cases of the virus were found in the state in the 24 hours leading up to midday Tuesday, after a new cluster emerged linked to the Hotel Grand Chancellor.
So far, it includes two returned travellers in hotel quarantine and a doctor from the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
