Querétaro, with 14,000 businesses registered for El Buen Fin

Queretaro, Qro. There are 14,000 businesses that have registered so far to participate in the 2022 edition of El Buen Fin, reported the local delegation of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco Servytur).

This is 70% of the 20,000 establishments that are projected to join the initiative, reaffirmed the president of Canaco in the state, Fabián Camacho Arredondo, trusting that more business units will join before Friday.

“El Buen Fin has proven year after year to be a great initiative (…) year after year it has positioned a gap so that businesses with offers and discounts can take advantage of a valuable season and thus generate economy. Businesses in Querétaro are ready, we have been trained to recognize discounts ”, he explained.

In this year (from November 18 to 21), he recalled, it is projected to capture an economic benefit of 1,600 million pesos, which would represent an increase of 40% in relation to last year.

Among the most benefited businesses are shopping malls, department stores, car dealerships, among others.

However, the local leader of the chamber recognized that there is an area of ​​opportunity in decentralizing El Buen Fin from the large consumption centers and adding to the more than 5,000 establishments that are in the Historic Center of the capital.

Of the total purchases made in the entity, he estimated, it is expected that 55% will be physical purchases and 45% through digital platforms.

This year the state representation of the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA) will be added, with 45 brands of cars, 12 of trucks and four of premium motorcycles, announced the president of AMDA in Querétaro, Laura Rodríguez Miranda.

“For us it continues to be a complex year due to supply issues (…) For El Buen Fin each brand has special offers, special financing programmed. After two very complex years, he is going to leave us a good number of sales ”, he explained.

The president of the Alliance for the Historic Center, Antonio Torres, said that there is confidence that more than 60% of the businesses in this area will join with discounts; Department stores, shoe stores, restaurants, among others, are expected to participate in the first square of the city.

The president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) in Querétaro, Garabed Narinian Valenzuela, specified that 355 affiliated businesses will join the Good End.

The Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) will deploy operations in coordination with the commerce sector, in order to reconcile disputes that may arise between consumers and sellers, said the head of Profeco in the state, Osvaldo García Arteaga.

Therefore, itinerant brigades will be implemented to verify that the promotions are respected. In the last edition, about 120 complaints were received in the entity, of which 90% were immediately reconciled.
