Two-time NBA champion Quinn Cook will sign an unsecured contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to the journalist The Athletic Shams Charania.
After two successful years collectively with the Golden State Warriors, the point guard has not been able to settle in his subsequent destinations. Last season he played 16 games for the Los Angeles Lakers before being fired in February. Then he would complete another seven in Cleveland under various ten-day contracts.
Previously it had been informed of the intention of the Warriors themselves to put it to the test throughout this week, but the Oregon franchise has decided to interpose itself in this desire and close its incorporation. The Blazers now have 18 players to play in the training camp, in addition to the two available dual contracts.
Throughout his career, the 28-year-old Cook has played a total of 188 NBA games, averaging 6.4 points and 1.6 assists with a 3-point shooting of 40.8%.
