Cancun, QR. Despite the advance in vaccines, the state continues to add positive cases of Covid-19, since in the last 48 hours it added more than 2,000 cases, that is, just over 1,000 cases per day.
According to the Daily Technical Statement prepared by the State Secretary of Health (Sesa), until January 13, 2022, 70,386 positive cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, 57,045 people recovered and 4,119 deaths, while 122 are hospitalized and 9,100 in isolation Social.
The report on January 12 was 69,739, while the report on January 11 was 68,180 positive cases, that is, 2,220 cases between Tuesday of this week and yesterday Thursday.
In the report of January 13, Sesa announced that the average occupancy in hospitals remains at 10% in the north and 4% in the south, while the growth of cases is 0.64% in the area north and 0.08% in the south.
Regarding vaccines, Sesa reports that 137,936 doses have already been applied in Cozumel, 99,442 in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, 30,344 in Isla Mujeres, 302,280 in Othón P. Blanco, while 1,131,751 vaccines have been applied in Benito Juárez.
In addition, in the municipality of José María Morelos 50,733 vaccines were applied, in Lázaro Cárdenas 39,698, while in Solidaridad 423,443, in Tulum 62,600 were applied, in Bacalar 47,202 and in Puerto Morelos 36,998.
National ranking
Quintana Roo is in second place nationally in inoculation levels with 99% of its population with at least one vaccine against Covid-19, only surpassed by CDMX with 100% of its population with at least one dose.
Below Quintana Roo are Querétaro (98%), San Luis Potosí (95%) and the States of Mexico (94%).
In contrast, the states with the least progress are Veracruz (80%), Nayarit (80%), Oaxaca (74%), Guerrero (74%) and Chiapas (69%).
