Radio Centro increased its revenues by 24.8% in the third quarter of 2022

Radio Center Group (GRC) billed 206.6 million pesos for transmissions during the third quarter of the year, compared to 165.6 million a year earlier. The growth of almost 25% in these revenues responded to an increase in advertising investment also from advertisers.

From January to September 2022, the company registered transmission revenues of 543.7 million pesos, an increase of 29.7% in the comparison of the same nine months of 2021, when GRC reported a turnover of 419.3 million pesos.

Radio Centro reported 127.1 million pesos in transmission expenses, around 4.6% above the 121.5 million pesos in the third quarter of the previous year.

The radio group reported a profit from transmissions of 79.5 million pesos in the period, compared to 44.1 million pesos a year ago.

Radio Centro’s operating profit in the third quarter was 45.6 million pesos, when a year ago it stood at 7.4 million pesos.

Grupo Radio Centro indicated that after a complicated year recorded in 2021, this year the company had a net income of 6.5 million pesos in the third quarter of 2022. In the same quarter of 2021, the company reported a net loss of 645.2 million pesos.

Radio Centro closed September 2022 with a net loss of 46.2 million pesos, compared to the net loss of 686.1 million registered until September 2021.
