HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — The Raiders will start Jarrett Stidham the last two game titles at quarterback in put of Derek Carr, Las Vegas coach Josh McDaniels mentioned Wednesday.
McDaniels cited the struggles of the offense over the previous month as the purpose for the switch.
“I could not be additional complimentary of (Carr) or the way he taken care of it,” McDaniels said of how the quarterback took the news.
Carr will be inactive the last two online games and that Chase Garbers will be the backup QB.
McDaniels also claimed defensive lineman Chandler Jones (elbow) and linebacker Denzel Perryman (shoulder) were positioned on period-ending hurt reserve.
The Raiders host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
