Argentine Lionel Messi has moved away from the top scorer in the Spanish Football League, expanding the difference to 4 goals between him and his former Barcelona Uruguayan teammate, Luis Suarez, the Atletico Madrid striker.
Lionel Messi celebrated his participation in his game No. 768 in Barcelona, scoring two goals against Real Sociedad (6-1), on Sunday, at the end of the 28th round of the League, bringing his tally to 23 goals.
While the Uruguayan, Luis Suarez, led his team Atletico Madrid to victory over Deportivo Alaves with a single goal, scored in the 54th minute of the match, which was held at the “Wanda Metropolitano” stadium in the capital, Madrid.
French striker Karim Benzema also contributed to Real Madrid’s victory over Celta Vigo (3-1) in the match that took place between them last Saturday, at the “Palaidos” stadium in Vigo.
