New detail has emerged of Real Madrid‘s Karim Benzema sensational half-time rant about team-mate Vinicius during the Spanish giants’ 2-2 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday night.
The Frenchman was picked up by cameras in the tunnel at Borussia-Park discussing the 20-year-old during the half-time interval, where he told Ferland Mendy in French: ‘Don’t play with him. On my mother’s life, he [Vinicius] is playing against us.’
Now, a fresh report in MARCA says Spanish TV station GOL TV have picked up more detail, with Benzema reportedly telling fellow Frenchman Mendy: ‘He [Vinicius] does not do anything useful,’ with the left back replying: ‘When he becomes scared, he loses what makes him great.’

All three players then talked on the pitch before the match restarted in the second-half, but the comments are not audible.
French news outlet Telefoot released the footage following the game on Tuesday, which shows the Real Madrid players filtering out from the dressing room and into the tunnel for the second half, with Vinicius stood within earshot of both Benzema and Mendy.
It was reported by Marca that, while Vinicius was not directly referenced in the conversation, it was the Brazilian who the pair were discussing.
The report goes on to claim that Mendy only passed the ball to Vinicius, who both play on the left, three times during the second half following the conversation.

Benzema went on to score Real’s first goal as they came from behind to draw 2-2 in Germany, with Casemiro grabbing a stoppage-time equaliser in the Champions League.
The incident involving Benzema on Tuesday evening comes just days after Isco was caught criticising Zinedine Zidane during El Clasico, leading to more claims of unrest in the Real Madrid training room.
The 28-year-old, who was an unused substitute during the 3-1 win against Barcelona on Saturday, is growing frustrated at the lack of playing time under Zidane so far this season.

Isco was filmed questioning the timings of Zidane’s substitutions by Spanish TV station Movistar saying: ‘If he (Zidane) has to bring me off, he substitutes me in minute 50 or 60 of the game, sometimes at half-time.
‘If he has to put me on, he puts me on in the 80th minute.’
The 28-year-old was speaking to Marcelo and Luka Modric when his temper boiled over, and Diario Sport also claim the 32-year-old left-back laughed after hearing the former Malaga midfielder’s complaints.
