To celebrate the release of Tron: Ares on October 10, 2025, Regal Cinemas will offer fans two exclusive collectible popcorn container sets.
The first is the Tron: Ares Collector’s Combo, which includes a large popcorn and a large fountain drink. This set features a popcorn bucket shaped like a geometric pyramid and a tumbler with a Lightcycle built into its base. Both items are made of translucent material with glowing red circuitry lines, illuminated by internal LED lights. The Collector’s Combo is expected to be priced between $30 and $40.
Additionally, Regal will release a Tron: Ares Arcade Cabinet Popcorn Bucket. This container is designed as a detailed replica of the classic 1980s Tron arcade game, complete with the movie logo, a blue joystick, coin slots, and a screen image depicting the character Ares on a Lightcycle. The popcorn is held inside the cabinet and accessed through a top lid. This item is estimated to cost between $49.99 and $59.00, depending on whether it is sold individually or as part of a combo.
Theater-exclusive merchandise is typically sold a week before a film’s premiere. Moviegoers are advised to contact their local Regal Cinemas starting October 3rd to confirm availability. Other theater chains may also participate, with Cinemark reportedly planning to release its own Tron: Ares collectibles as early as September 29th.
Tron: Ares follows a sophisticated A.I. program sent from the digital world on a dangerous mission into the real world, leading to humanity’s first encounter with artificial intelligence beings. The film has a runtime of 1 hour and 59 minutes, and tickets are now available for purchase at Regal Cinemas.
